We are happy and honored that MovieBrats Pictures' very own Esther Friedrich is joining the selected group of producers that makes up the Trans Atlantic Parterns 2017 line up. The program brings together producers from Europe, Canada and the US in two training sessions in Berlin and Halifax, respectively, and is, as Deadline.com notes, "dedicated to offering experienced producers the skills to work transatlantic co-productions, aims to arm participants with necessary skills and relationships to successfully access international funding, creative talent and capitalize on international co-production opportunities."

"This year’s experts include Junebug producer Mike Ryan, A Most Wanted Man producer Malte Grunert, and Ransom producer Julia Sereny," Deadline continues.

Esther Friedrich is joined by fellow participants, Orphan Black producer Mackenzie Donaldson and American Honey producer Allison Carter, among others. MovieBrats Pictures' fellow producer Alexander Weimer is an alum of last year's Trans Atlantic Partners program.
